This project runs from April 2022 – September 2022 for Adults

We will be supporting adults with a learning disability or autism to improve their mental wellbeing and shape the future of mental health services.

Advocates can help, adults and their families to

• Develop a personal life plan to improve mental health and wellbeing
• find the right groups or activities (online and in person) and match you with a ‘peer buddy’ if required
• find the right support
• have better relationships with services and professionals

Using people’s experiences, we will feed these back to Hampshire Southampton and IOW Clinical Commissioning Group by producing a report on what good mental health services should look like.

We can work with people in the following areas, New forest, Southampton, southern Hampshire – including Fareham and Gosport and Havant.
